WAAY

Our project for WAAY featured the same components as did FOX 41's May ratings sweeps promotion. The promotion centered around mailing a full-color 24 page coupon magazine to households in the WAAY viewing area. With this promotion we introduced a text/sms marketing feature. Working with the station we were able to incorporate all aspects of the contest into the text marketing program.

The text program made it possible for the audience to enter the contest via text, sign-up to receive mobile coupons from advertisers participating in the promotion and interact with the station. As with the FOX 41 project, the station managed the acquisition of sponsors and advertisers and we were charged with managing those accounts once they were confirmed. In addition to designing many of the individual ads which appeared in the magazine, we also provided the final camera-ready layout to the printer.

The "Watch & Win" contest, as it was called, also contained an online component which we developed, built and managed. Visitors to the site could browse an online version of the magazine, print coupons, entry forms and participate in an online version of an instant win scratch-off game.

United Trade Printers

We have managed, set-up and delivered the United Trade Printers monthly email blast for over two years. Additionally throughout that time we have provided a variety of services ranging from mailing list acquisition and data append services to providing their FTP hosting and email service.

Provision RX

Provision RX needed an easy process for its 1000s of agents and brokers around the country to view and order company-approved marketing materials. Working with one of our partners we developed an on-demand web-to-print solution that allowed agents and brokers to log in to a secure website and browse pre-designed business cards, door hangers, flyers and two-sided postcards. Once the user selected the desired design, they customized the areas of the collateral which Provision RX permitted and placed the order.

We set up an approval process so Provision RX could review orders as they came in to ensure requests complied with the guidelines they established. Once approved, all of the required files and layouts were sent electronically to the designated print shop where the order was fulfilled and delivered to the agent.

Media Revenue Systems

Media Revenue Systems served as our partner on both of the of the "Watch and Win" projects and as part of the driving force behind the PushDC property. Additionally we had opportunity to provide MRS with a website overhaul and a series of email marketing campaigns. We also created 3 different sales presentations for MRS products and services. Although these presentations were initially designed and assembled in Power Point, as an added benefit to MRS we also converted the presentations to both a self-running web-based app and a interactive pdf flipbook.

RMG Advertising

RMG Advertising has been a client for nearly a decade and stands as a shining example of our managed support solution. Thru the years the month-to-month specifics of the support we provide ebbs and flows with the overall needs, current resources and opportunities that exist for RMG. As is the case with most mid-sized businesses continued success called for RMG to continually evolve and adapt. In spite of not being a traditional technology company, RMG began offering products and solutions that required a growing amount of technology expertise and support. Initially our support package consisted of:

  • setting up and managing the company's email services
  • installing and maintaining the office server, network, PCs and printers
  • developing and maintaining the company website

  • It wasn't long before RMG began to recognize the synergy created when marketing meets technology. Our support relationship allowed RMG to implement a variety of programs and tools swiftly, effectively and efficiently without the creation of an internal IT department or the corresponding increase to staff and overhead. During this period we expanded our support by:

  • creating and implementing an email marketing program for RMG products and services
  • providing the on-site installation and maintenance of over 60 touchscreen product information kiosks located in grocery stores throughout southwest Ohio
  • developing a proprietary multi-user, web-based contact management and tracking system that provided the foundation for a newly created telemarketing function/department

  • Before long our support relationship allowed RMG to implement a variety of programs and tools swiftly, effectively and efficiently without the creation of an internal IT department or the corresponding increase to staff and overhead. During this period we expanded our support by:

  • planning, development and implementation of a Personalized URL enhancement to the company's direct mail campaign product
  • planning, development and implementation of a privately branded marketing campaign portal
  • planning, development and implementation of a mobile website component for RMG's drip and direct marketing campaign product
  • Hotel Restorations

    While we pride ourselves on getting involved with our clients and working with them on a variety of marketing and technology projects, we are equally committed to clients who trust us with a one time project or task. That's exactly the case with Hotel Restorations.

    As have many clients, they asked us to simply take an existing website and give it a face lift. In this instance they were under the gun a bit as they were preparing to attend a regional trade show and wanted to make the best impression possible. After gathering the required information from them and determining what types of changes they hoped to implement off to work we went. A couple of concept proofs later we delivered a fully upgraded site in plenty of time for the trade show debut.

    About 18 months after delivering the website they contacted us again in a bit of a panic. As a result of personnel changes all of the information they needed to access their domain registration and hosting account had been lost. Fortunately we maintain fairly extensive notes and records and were able to track down the information they needed. While on the face of it that might seem incidental but for Hotel Restorations it was critical. That's simply a further example of the value we place on serving our clients.

    Fusion Program

    Developed by BlueStar, the Fusion Program is a value-added service they offer to resellers. Essentially it consists of a package of marketing and promotional tools and services that are made available to resellers either at no charge or at substantially reduced rates. Although our specific role constantly changes and evolves essentially we supply collateral and solutions for many of the products and services offered by the program.

    Thru the years we have assisted with the continual evaluation and enhancement of the program. About four years into our involvement BlueStar asked us to partner with them to rethink, redesign and reinvigorate the entire Fusion Program. As a result we developed and implemented a web-based, self-serve marketing portal thru which we enabled BlueStar to offer in excess of 15,000 customizable post cards, sales sheets, sales books and email blasts. We also developed programs that made it possible for resellers to request and customize marketing components like product webinars, telemarketing services and the development and production of online product training modules called e-learns. Eventually we launched a version of the portal in 4 additional languages and expanded the offerings on the portal to include services such as website design and search engine optimization.

    Push DC

    Although we provided the hosting and a handful of targeted email blasts for them as well, the PushDC project was primarily a website design endeavor. The objective of the site was to raise awareness and promote a non-partisan discussion of national politics. To that end we incorporated most of the standard social media elements you would expect to see - blogs, sharing of comments, pictures and videos. Once the brain trust behind the concept had them in place we obviously brought in links from Twitter and Facebook as well.

    The site centered around a weekly survey which consisted of 6 - 10 questions regarding current political events which was distributed via email to all registered PushDC members. Results were tallied and published on a weekly basis as well as sent to members with the following weeks' questionnaire.

    WDRB-Fox 41

    RMG Financial

    First in the spirit of full disclosure RMG Financial is owned by the same group as is RMG Advertising. Not long after we began providing our managed support service for RMG Advertising we brought RMG Financial on board with a similar solution. Our support for RMG Financial included the standard IT needs you would expect for any SMB - email, website design, hosting and office hardware installation and maintenance. In addition we developed, coded and distributed a monthly email newsletter on their behalf.

    BlueStar

    BlueStar ranks as one of our most diverse and long-standing clients. Thru the years we've worked with BlueStar on numerous campaign specific projects as well as a handful of ongoing programs, one of which has been in place for over six years. Much of the work we do with BlueStar revolves around the marketing and promotion of the BlueStar brand, however, even more of our work is performed for BlueStar's VARs and manufacturers on behalf of BlueStar. The degree of trust and confidence shown in us by BlueStar is another testament to the approach we take when partnering with a business.

    Given the longevity and depth of our relationship with BlueStar there isn't much that we offer that we haven't done for them at one time or another. That being said, the following programs/projects represent the some of the more in-depth/creative projects we do for BlueStar:

  • develop and maintain a variety of microsites for BlueStar's VARs
  • created, implemented and maintained an email marketing program for VARs and manufacturers
  • adapted one of our existing programs to implement a multi-user web-based lead management and tracking system that allowed BlueStar to receive leads from a variety of sources and distribute them to their sales force planned

    We have partnered with Stellar Concepts many times over the past few years. While much of what our two companies do overlaps, Stellar Concepts trusts us to provide a variety of services for its clients such as mailing list acquisition, email append services and FTP / web hosting support.

    Custom digital printing and design forms the foundation of Stellar's focus and in support of that we were called upon to develop a privately-branded web-to-print portal for one of their primary clients. The portal enabled the client to provide branches and agents with the capability to order corporate marketing and promotional materials that could be customized with location-specific information while maintaining all corporate standards. The portal featured a robust user interface, complete e-commerce functionality as well as extensive back office support.
